David in the Kitchen
During her appearance on “In the Kitchen with David” , David Venerable eyes Judy’s Rosenberg’s Lemon Coconut Butter Cream Cake lustfully and exclaims “the way to my heart is through my tummy”. “You and I worked together years ago,” David tells Judy, “and I fell in love with you on that day. And I think I’m falling back in love with you again.” As David’s ecstasy rises, he swoons over Judy’s cake. “It’s bright. It’s delicious. It’s creamy. It’s moist. That cake is extraordinary.”
For David, Judy’s Fudgy Dark Chocolate Brownies are a “little bit of heaven”. Unable to contain his affection and not knowing if he will be able to endure any more of Judy’s delights, David breaks down. “Oh Judy,” he says. “Come on”.

Getting David to “ooh and ah” over with her Sugar Cookie Strawberry Cheesecake, her chocolate ganache dipped Donut Holes, her Fudgy Dark Chocolate Brownies and her Lemon Coconut Butter Cream Cake was a piece of cake compared to all the hoops and hurdles which QVC put her through to be on the show.
First there was on the on-line course which required a perfect score to pass. Judy had to know how to dress, what to say and what not to say. Then off to Philadelphia for a seminar and two “make it or break it” test runs. Then back to Boston for a nail-biting wait to find out if you made the cut.
The next day Judy is back in Philly where the make- up crew uses several pounds of powder to prepare her for the TV lights“Up close, you looked horrible,” Judy says, but from a distance you look better than real life!!”
